Research Day 2017 Countdown

WIT Research Day is an annual event that brings together postgraduates from across the six schools of the Institute, to showcase the breadth and depth of research activities being undertaken and the knowledge generated by such. It also serves to enhance the understanding of postgraduate research across the Institute and to provide postgraduate researchers with an opportunity to look outside of their own discipline and explore alternative research areas. This year, 2017, will be the 8th running of the event and it promises to deliver some wonderful insights into the research of our postgraduate community.

WIT Research Day 2016

This event is for postgraduate students, supervisors, academic and research staff and anyone interested in finding out more about research at WIT.

Aims of the event

  • To provide a platform for postgraduate researchers to showcase their research activities

  • To give postgraduate researchers the opportunity to venture beyond their own discipline and explore alternative research areas, perspectives, philosophies and strategies

  • To enhance understanding of the depth and breadth of postgraduate research across the Institute

  • To encourage the development of inter-departmental communication and research networks amongst research postgraduate students, supervisors and academic and research staff

The Graduate Studies Office is pleased to announce the call for abstracts and "Images with Impact" for WIT Research Day 2017: Connect, Innovate, Inspire.

Submissions are encouraged from Research Masters and PhD students registered at WIT seeking to connect, innovate and inspire the research community at the Institute.

WIT Research Day 2017 promises to be an exciting opportunity for research postgraduate students to present on their research and compete for the prizes available.
